Argesh - Excommunica
Hello HellHounds and Today we are reviewing the Debut album by Argesh.
Argesh are a three piece Black Metal band hailing from Italy.
Excommunica is their debut album.
Excommunica is a 6 track album with a duration of around 30 minutes 57 seconds.
Excommunica was released on 14th September 2021.
Argesh had a certain message in mind when writing this album and I'll share what Argesh said they wanted to express with this album :
We live in a world corrupted by moral dogmas which, uncounsciously, influences and creates the society in which we find oursevles. A vicious circle of self-destruction and self-castration - Argesh stands against this all. With this album we want to express our disgust and adversity with ferocity and without any qualm. "Excommunica" wants to point out how much can be spiritually self-sabotating being born and grown in a religious context bare of awareness and consciousness. Its concept is based on disrupting these restrictions in order to find the human need to evolve and become something different from the herd, expressing the harsh hate against the hypocrisy which this moral society proves to be with its values. We're all suffocating in this oxygen ruled by corrupted divine idols.
That is in Argesh's words and I thought they expressed this perfectly throughout this whole album.
From start to finish this album has you gripped and wanting more.
The songs are played and screamed with such ferocity.

4. Praelatorum Pedophilia
5. Apocalypse 20. 7 - 8 - 9
6. The Elohims Mark
With strong song title names such as these you can definitely see that they truly believe what they are speaking out against.
Now it was hard to find stand out songs on this album because the whole album is excellent.
But here are the standouts tracks :

Suffocate in oxygen.
Excommunica is is an absolute kick ass album and a great album to have as your debut album at that.
Excommunica filled with ferocity, anger and absolute disgust and hatred.
I would definitely recommend this album and it certainly is a must listen for 2021.
Excommunica will be going on my top 10 best Black Metal albums of 2021 that's for sure.
