Udånde - Life Of A Purist

Hello HellHounds and Today we are reviewing the Debut album by Udånde.

Udånde is a one man atmospheric black metal project hailing from Slovakia. Life of a purist is his debut album.

Life Of A Purist was released on 5th February 2021.
Life Of A Purist has 7 songs and a duration of around 38 minutes and 46 sec.

I really love the atmosphere to this album and the length of each song being around 5:20 or just under really makes this album feel like a decent length album without it feeling like it just goes on and on.

The Vocals are very raw which absolutely just adds a certain feel to this album along with the guitars and drums being also more on the raw side with just a slight touch up but does not affect the quality of the album. 

Udånde has done a fantastic Job with this album and it is a great album to start your career off with.

I could not pick any standout tracks on this album because the album is excellent from start to finish.
I look forward to hearing more from Udånde as I know he has great potential. 

As for Udånde's lyrical content , well Udånde tends to focus his lyrics around Nature and Misanthropy which is definitely present in this album. 

Overall I really love the mix of Raw Vocals with the Atmospheric melodies of the guitar and drums and the atmospheric lyrics 

I rate this album an 8.5 /10
