Vichr - Vichr
Hello HellHounds and Today we are reviewing the Debut EP from the one man black metal project known as Vichr.
Vichr is a black metal solo project hailing from Glasgow , Scotland.
Vichr is the self titled debut EP which was released on 12th June 2021 and it has a duration of around 27 minutes and 21 seconds. Vichr consists of 5 tracks.
This EP does not slow down in fact this EP sounds like what it would sound like if someone with Bi Polar in a Manic phase created a Black Metal EP haha , this ep is Manic from start to finish.
The Vocal style that is used is almost reminiscent of most DSBM vocalists. Very incoherent and Shrill.
Giving this EP an even more manic sound.
On first listen to this EP is gives of a sense of Panic because of the pace of the songs and the EP in general.
Vichr is a fantastic EP and is definitely worth a listen.
Now normally I would have some standout tracks to mention but all the songs are not written in English.
So if you are looking for a quick little listen and want some great Black Metal then this is the EP for you.
Overall I really like this EP. I love that it is constantly in your face and does not slow down for anything.
I love the sense of panic it induces.
I rate this EP a solid 8/10.
This has been my review of Vichr - Vichr.
Until Next Time HellHounds
Stay Black, Stay Evil, Stay Metal.
