Yoth Iria - As The Flame Withers

Hello HellHounds and Today we are reviewing the latest album by ColdCell.

ColdCell are a five piece Black Metal band hailing from Basel , Switzerland. ColdCell have four studio albums to date.

The Greater Evil is ColdCell's latest album it a 7 track album with a duration of around 49 minutes. The Greater Evil was released on April 23rd 2021. 
 
The track list is as follows:
1. Scapegoat Season
2. Those
3. Open Wound
4. Armoured In Pride 
5. Greatest of all species 
6. Back into the ocean
7. No escape.

This  album is a slower paced album with most songs being 7 minutes long. This album is also played in a slower pace to induce the feeling of out of conciseness. 

The Greater Evil is a very hypnotic and trippy album to listen to. Imagine being high on LSD and Heroin at once and boom you've got ColdCell's The Greater Evil. 

The opening track " Scapegoat Season " starts with a really creepy intro that will send a shiver up your spine , the last track also ends with a really creepy outri similar to the opening one. 

The standout tracks on this album for me are as follows :

Those 
Armoured in pride 
Greatest of all species 

If you like slower paced Black Metal and Black Metal albums than this album is for you. 
Certainly a unique album with its own unique sound. 
Overall I did really enjoy this album and I rate this album a 7/10
