Lamashtus - Insentient - Ascendancy

Hello HellHounds and Today we are reviewing the latest album by Female Solo Adavnt-Garde Black Metal Project Lamashtus.

Lamashtus is Female Solo Advent-Garde Black Metal Project from Seville , Spain.
Insentient Ascendancy is her most recent Creation. Insentient Ascendancy features 8 Tracks and has a total duration of around 45 minutes. Insentient Ascendancy was released on the 15th May 2021.

Its not everyday in Black Metal that you come across a Female Frontwomen much less a solo female black metal project which is what makes lamashtus so unique.
Now personally I don't listen to a lot of Advent - Garde black metal as I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to Black Metal , however lamashtus is one of those exceptions.

Insentient Ascendancy certainly is an interesting listen as it blends so many different elements.
What I really love about this album is the Rawness of the instruments and Vocals are fantastic.

Drums and guitars are so chaotic maybe even manic that I just could not help but bang my head to every song.
There is even a slight dungeon synth sound to it but its quite subtle at least in personal opinion.

Here is the track list for Insentient Ascendancy as follows :
1. Allegories Of Caacrionlaas Emergence
2. Multiversal Confluence Of Tenebrous Space
3. Abstraction Of Perplexing Fiendish Entities
4. The Intensity Of Immemorial Ordinace
5. Transcendental Compulsion Of Spectral Flesh
6. Manifestations Of Phantasmagoria
7. Profane Enbodiment Of Sorcerous Beings
8. Catastrophe

Now for the stand out tracks
2. Multiversal Confluence Of Tenebrous Space
4. The Intensity Of Immemorial Ordinace
7. Profane Enbodiment Of Sorcerous Beings
These tracks were the most interesting for me and just offered the perfect balance of all the different elements.

Insentient Ascendancy is definitely worth a listen and is a great album to start off with if your looking to start listening to more Advent-Garde style Black Metal.

Fantastic and very solid album for 2021.
I rate this album a 7.5 /10

This has been my review of Lamashtus - Insentient Ascendancy
