Schavot - Galgenbrok

Hello HellHounds and Today we are reviewing the Debut album by Schavot.

Schavot is a one man Black Metal project from The Netherlands.

Schavot is Dutch for Scaffold. Schavot sings about Old Folk Tales.

Galgenbrok is the debut release by Schavot and it features 8 tracks and has a duration of around 35 minutes 52 seconds.

Galgenbrok was released on the 1st of October 2021. 

Galgenbrok is full of absolute abyssmal vocals and brutal crushing guitars. This album will make you feel absolutely filthy after listening to it. I felt like I needed a shower after hearing Galgenbrok. 

I really love the sound and feel of this album from start to finish and it even offers some little atmospheric moments here and there.

I would've liked this album to be a bit longer maybe like 40 minutes or so but nonetheless still and absolute great album.

Now for the standout tracks 

3. Witte Juffer - This Song is absolutely Manic , straight to the point and absolutely vile in the best way possible. Absolutely loved this track and would be my favourite on the album.

There are other stand out songs but it was just to hard to pick any. 

Overall this album is absolutely brutal and does not slow down even for a second. Total and utter chaos. Definitely worth a listen.
