Sznur - Dom czlowieka

Hello HellHounds and Today we are reviewing the latest album by Sznur.

Sznur are a 3 piece Black Metal band hailing from Poland. 

Sznur have 3 full length albums to date. 

Sznur means Rope in Polish. 

Dom czlowieka is the 3rd full length studio album from Sznur. Dom czlowieka features 5 tracks and has a total duration of around 31 minutes. Dom czlowieka was released on 17th April 2021.

Normally I would share the tracklist but none of the songs are in a language I am familiar with so I will leave this part out of the review.

In my personal opinion Dom czlowieka has a distinct Norwegian Black Metal sound to it especially track 4. 

In track 4 you can hear a guitar riff that almost sounds as if its a nod to the classic guitar riff of the song Necrolust by Mayhem.

Other than the Norwegian Black Metal sound this album has it also has many other great features aswell such as ,  fantastic vocals and ripping guitar which is sure to have you crunching up your face and windmilling your hair.

Dom czlowieka has such an Abysmal cold feeling to it , like walking through the artic circle as you can feel the hate , wrath and utter despair of the singers Vocals.

The Lyrics paint such a beautiful picture aswell.

The standout tracks for me on this album are as follows :

Track 1 - gets straight down to business with no long intro or ambient sounds. Track 1 gets straight into the music and may even catch you off guard if your first listen.

Track 2 - again no long intro gets straight to the point.

Track 4 - this in my opinion is the most Norwegian sounding song on the album and I would say is my favourite track on the album. It has ripping guitar and relentless vocals.

Sznur are not playing around and if it wasn't evident enough with their previous albums then it is more than clear with release.

Overall I really did enjoy this album i just would've liked it to be a bit longer but other than that solid album.

I would highly recommend you check Dom czlowieka by Sznur out. It is certainly worth a listen.
