Wolves In The Throne Room - Primordial Arcana

Hello HellHounds and Today we are reviewing the latest album by Atmospheric Black Metal Band Wolves In The Throne Room.

Wolves In The Throne Room are a mostly Two piece Atmospheric Black Metal Band from Olympia , Washington  in the United States.

Originally Formed in 2002 they now have 7 full length albums under their name. 

Primordial Arcana is their latest album which was released on August 21st 2021.

Primordial Arcana has 8 Tracks and a total duration of 49 minutes and 40 seconds.

Wolves In The Throne Room's Primordial Arcana has a rich quality to it with each song bringing its own individual feeling and unique sound to the album.

This Album has a certain Darkness enshrouding it enducing the listener into an almost trance like state. During each song their is this atmosphere of mysticism and magic going on throughout the entire album.

I believe Primordial Arcana to be Wolves In The Throne Room's best release yet.

There are a few instrumental songs on this album which provide a great ambience especially since they chose to end the album on two instrumental tracks.

Now for the standout tracks on this album :

6. Masters of Rain and Storm - is the last track on the album to feature vocals and is my favourite song on the album because of its overall feel and sound.

1. Mountain Magick - is the opening track and i feel is the perfect song to use to open the album because it really sets the mood for what's to come. 

4. Primal Chasm - is the perfect midway track that leads into the second half of the album and really helps build tension for the big ending of the Primordial Arcana.

Overall Primordial Arcana is a brilliant album and definitely will go into my top favourites for 2021.

I highly recommend this album as must listen for 2021.
