Filled with beautifully crafted musicianship and vocals and even some symphonic parts on two of the tracks makes for a very unique and versitile album.
When listening to this album for the first time without researching what the album is about you already get a sense of a decent into something. A feeling of seeking something either lost or not yet explored. Arkhons Vocals make you feel like your in a dimly lit cathedral surrounded by Black Candles and an Altar with a rams head and a goblet of blood watching a sacrifice take place.
I love images his Vocals bring to the album.

Apolytrosis Explores the Journey of Self Discovery self indulgence and decent into becoming the highest self. A journey of Creation through chaos.
Here is the tracklist as follows :
1. Katavasis - Explores the first step of self discovering. The first decent into the self.
2. Apognosis - is the second stage of the decent into discovering the inner self and self indulgence. Apognosis is the William abandonment of outer knowledge and replaces it with a means to seek inner knowledge.
3. Couldn't find an actual definition of this word but it is obviously the 3rd stage of discovering the inner self and self indulgence
4. Epignosis - This is the Fourth Stage in the decent into self discovery and inner power and knowledge. Epignosis means precise and correct knowledge.
5. : a state that in some respects resembles shock, is characterized by cessation of all voluntary activity and usually by assumption of a posture suggestive of death.
This is the Fifth stage on this long journey. According to Googles definition of this word it is likely that Temple Of Evil mean this in a metaphorical way.
6. Metousiosis - this is the 6th stage portraying the change of essence and inner reality.
Reaching a higher state of the inner self.
