Screams of Desolation - Under a pale moon

Hello HellHounds and Today is our first ever 2 part review. Part 1 is focused on Under A Pale Moon Album and Part 2 will be focused on the This Suffering is Everlasting.

Today we will be reviewing the latest release from One Man DSBM project Screams of Desolation.
Screams of Desolation is a One Man DSBM project hailing all the way from Alabama , USA.

Under a Pale Moon features 11 Tracks of Pure Doom and Despair with each track leading you further down the darkened pit of hell.
Here is the tracklist :
1. Intro
2. Death , set me free
3. Vita Mortis
4. Fields of Glass
5. Foreshadows of Death
6. My last breathe
7. My personal death
8. Nocturnal Suicide
9. Open the Gates of hell
10. The mocking of christ
11. Trapoed in this life

Album opens with a fucking great intro with dialogue and solemn music to set the mood for the rest of the coming album.
With song titles like those listed above it is pretty easy to tell what the theme of the album is about but it is executed in such a perfect way with Decadently Dark Lyrics And Vocals.

I love how Raw the vocals are throughout and there is so much variety within them. The downtuned guitars with heavey distorsion give this album the desirable Doomy Gloom sound that Screams Of Desolation were going for.

My favourite tracks on the album are as follows :
2. Death , Set me free
5. Foreshadows of Death
6. My Last Breathe
11. Trapped in this life.

Overall what a fantastic first impresstion and a fantastic first album. This Album is wonderfully put together. Fantastic job and keep it up  Screams of Desolation.
I rate this album a 8.5/10.

You can find Screams of Desolations music on BandCamp.
Until Next Time HellHounds
