mimorium - The route to Haeresis

Hello HellHounds and Today we are reviewing the latest album by Finnish Black Metal Band Mimorium.

The route of Haeresis is the latest Sadistic Atrocity Of Mimorium a  5 piece Black Metal Band Hailing from Finland. Mimorium is a mix of Black Metal Goodness with a emphasis on  2nd wave of Black Metal with Swedish and Norwegian influences.  

Mimorium's The route to Haeresis was released on the 12th of August 2022. It features 8 Tracks of the finest ritualistic murder and has a runtime of 41 minutes and 12 seconds.

Throughout the entire album there are persistent Strong heavy riffs , serious old school Mayhem vibes. 

Each track on this album are of a solid length each song ranging from 4 to 6 minutes in length.

Transitions between the songs are effortless and flowy and transition perfectly from one song to the next. 

Vox Malum's Vocals are a black metal heads wet dream with Cold and Callous high pitched screetches and growls to even low growls at certain points in the album. A prominent feature that you will notice throughout the album is how Cold Vox's Vocals make the whole album feel along with the guitars which are played in an atmospherical way to also give off this cold feeling. 

As The album progresses the songs get increasingly more aggressive in sound and lyrics.

Some low growls in track 3 emphasise this.

As a result in track 3 due to the more aggressive nature of the song the original cold and callous feeling does get a bit lost but comes back with a bang on track 4. 

Track 5 Hands of the heretic has a very somber intro which I love and suits the album perfectly.

The low growl also return in this song.

Production quality of this album is very good not too clean but not too distorted either. 

If there ever was a Black Metal album that came to mind when you think of ritualistic mass murder then The route to Haeresis would definitely be one of them.
